Asian Sport Sponsorship Weekly Round Up

This week in Asian sports there is Olympics news, broadcast deals in Spanish soccer as well as new sponsorships in Chinese rugby and Malaysian football.



South Korea’s PyeongChang 2018 winter Olympics bid received a donation of US$90,000 from local energy supplier Gangwon City Gas.About 60 companies are participating as official sponsors through corporate marketing activities to boost nationwide support in South Korea’s bid for the Games.

It’s been a busy week with a whole gamut of sponsorship deals covering much of Southeast Asia. There was news in Grand Prix racing, Vietnamese football, announcements of endorsements in tennis and golf in Malaysia, new PR contracts in Singapore and badminton in Indonesia.
